Cosmological Jug $65 |
FACE JUGSBack when asphalt was dirt and housing developments were woods, the peoples of the South stored the gifts of Nature in face jugs. The expression of each face was a clue to the contents. For instance, a scary face denoted poison or medicine, a jug with a quesy look might contain an emetic, and a happy face nearly always suggested something with a bitter after-taste. Jugs with blank expressions were usually empty, while there was no telling what was in a jug with a surprised look. The Cosmological Jug may be filled with stardust and meteor bits. The Dietary Indiscretion Jug may be used to store indigestible tidbits. See SIZES for dimensions and volumes. |
