FACE JUGSThe efficacy of face jugs in repulsing evil spirits has been widely accepted and endorsed in scientific journals and the popular thaumaturgic press. Studies by the Institute for Scientific Understanding of Face Jugs have more or less proven their utility in matters of the etheral. Less well known - except to the cognoscenti - is the face jug's musicality. Jug bands have long favored the euphonic timbre achieved with the face jug. Yo Yo Ma himself has taken up playing the face jug in lieu of lugging around a cello. Though these two jugs are a tempered chromatically matched pair, they may be purchased separately.
